Stillness and Our Planet
This Planet! Oh, this Beautiful Planet!! There is so much I want to touch on in this section that this is going to be quite lengthy. I will start with sharing part of my own story because this planet is part of my life mission. I am so in love with this planet, and I am happy to share with you what I have discovered, which is what our Love does in raising the consciousness of All on this wonderful planet at this time.
First I will let you know briefly when I awoke to these powerful urges to help this planet. It was September 1996. I had some business in Alaska. I was sort of a workaholic at that time, always traveling and on the go, using the time alone in cars and planes for meditation. I was very excited about having business in Alaska. I knew the business I had would take three days. I decided I would go three days early to have those days all to myself to spend in Alaska’s natural beauty. I rarely had this kind of opportunity, so I wanted to make sure I got this time to myself without interference, deciding to put nature before business, knowing that business always seems to interfere with personal time.
As soon as I arrived in Alaska, I was in awe. I stayed in Anchorage. The first day I drove up to Mount McKinley. What an incredible experience that was, and the silence of that journey by myself was powerful. The second day I decided to do a whale tour out of Seward. I saw the sunrise while driving along the coastline. All just breath-taking. I decided on a day tour. So much I got to witness. I wish I could mention it all, but that is a story of its own. By the end of the tour, we still had not seen any whales. I saw a lot of other great creatures, but no whales. The humpbacks were already migrating toward Hawaii, so the whales were more scarce. Even though it was cold, I sat on the front deck calling softly to the whales. I was trying to keep detached from the hope of seeing them. It was hard because it was a whale tour and I was so looking forward to my first whale experience. I told them if I did not get to see them, that would be OK. I would just have to come back.
We came across some walruses and were all very excited to spot these incredible animals. The captain received a call and told us that we will cut short viewing the walruses and head to another area, knowing that we would enjoy what we found there. We went to the island where we had lunch. A couple owned and lived on this island and made money serving salmon lunches to the tours. They stayed on this island without being able to leave for the winter and our lunch was their last for the season. Brave couple! They were out on their boat, which looked like a large sailing boat. They were the ones that called us to tell us that there was a pod of Orca whales swimming around them.
As we approached, the captain turned off the engine so as not to scare them off. Amazingly, we were in the center of seven orca whales. I even got a photo of a mother with her newborn pup. They both came up for a leap, giving me an unbelievable photo. The whales swam around, coming in to view us as well, unafraid and spewing their beautiful mist and flapping their tails. I could not believe what I was seeing. I had tears rolling down my face. The orcas answered my call. I thanked them for this beautiful experience and will share the experience of their energy with all that I can. They are powerful creatures, as we all know, a gift to this planet! At a distance, the largest whale started to hit his tale on the water, and the other whales seemed to finally go the way of the larger whale. Later I read that they flap their tales to communicate that it is time to leave or danger is nearby. They knew that we were not dangerous, so it was just time for them to depart. That moment is deeply implanted in my heart. I became fully connected to all the whales that day. I have even had journeys with them in my dreams. They are ecstasy!
Day three, I was exhausted but wanted to drive down to Homer, where large groups of eagles flocked. I had already seen many, but Homer is suppose to have them in great numbers. It was a long journey, so I started out very early. Driving the coast along the sound again, I saw some white bobbles in the water. I remember being puzzled, wondering what that could be. White round objects kept coming up to the surface then disappearing. It was a very odd sight, so I pulled over to the side of the road. Another car stopped as well and got out to look. I asked what that was, and the gentleman told me that those are Beluga whales. They start coming into the sound at this time of year to feed on the salmon that start to go up stream. He said that there are probably hundreds out there with more coming. I could not believe, Beluga whales. I never thought I would be seeing the Canary of the Sea.
I started my trip onward toward Homer, but I could not stop thinking about my Beluga whales. I just had to go back and spend the day. I watched along the coast as I drove and noticed a little, private island to which I could leap across the water. I walked to the other side of the island just to sit in nature and watch the whales. What an experience this was. Everyone needs to do something like this in their lifetime. The rewards are out of this world!
I had a Spiritual Awakening at this point. I fell madly in love with this planet. I felt all of the existence on this beautiful planet. I felt how this planet loves all that lives on her. I sat there in tears with this profound experience of Beauty, Joy and Love. I knew how alive this planet was. We became One! I opened up to my connection with this planet and all that is on this planet. This feeling has even deepened since then. But at that time, I knew my connection to this planet; it was a powerful awakening in me.
At that time, as well, I felt how most of us have disconnected ourselves from each other and this planet. People are out of touch with nature, out of touch with ourselves, out of touch with this planet; completely oblivious to the beauty we have access to. Not all of us are so disconnected but a large enough amount to make a disturbance on this planet, a large disturbance at that. Enough have awakened at this time to move this planet in a better direction. I will touch more on that in another section. We Are Awakening!!
Coming back to Texas, I knew that I had changed. My priorities were different. I did not want to travel anymore (for business, anyway). It took too much of my personal time. I practically lived out of a suitcase. I realized that I did not have a home. I wanted to create my space. I wanted to learn more about life and really learn how to LIVE, not work all of the time.
It took about one year to transition myself to a job that kept me at home. My life began to rearrange itself in profound ways. A lot of the changes were very difficult, as major life changes are always hard. I can look back now, though, and see exactly what was going on and where my life was heading. I am so thankful to the force of the Universe. It knows exactly what to do when I do not. I learned really well at that time to follow my heart. Shortly after some major rearrangements, I completely surrendered. I surrendered to God, the higher power, that I will do whatever is meant for me to do. Immediately I felt that energy and knew there was no going back. I Trusted in a Higher Power to completely take over. And believe me it did just that. I still did what I needed to do in life. I had to make money for rent and all the necessities that go with living. But I followed leads and people and was introduced to a variety of things to help me on my journey. It was a beautiful time of deepening, of self-discoveries and the belief in the magical life we are All meant to live. My jobs and life continue to change as well, allowing me to experience, becoming more and more Free.
What have I come to realize? I have realized the power We All have in raising the consciousness of this planet. Through the years I have deepened the gift of seeing and feeling energy. It was not until moving to my new land of Thailand that I came to realize how powerful we all are in the creation of our energies. I developed this gift through the simple act of watching and observing. For example, while living in Thailand I loved going to the temples and sanctuaries that dot the land. People really love to worship many different forms. I have always loved going and sitting in the energies. The energies being created are wonderfully powerful and loving. I also came across this in the USA at meditation groups I attended, so the phenomenon appears not just in Thailand but around the world.
In Thailand, people pray and make offerings each day. Many will go and just sit in silence and meditate. The people are relaxed and feel safe in these places of worship, unafraid. You can Feel the peace. I have always loved staying in these places as long as I could, just feeling the energy.
Observing this over and over, it finally came to me exactly what is happening. With their intent in prayers and offerings, they are LOVING. This is being done over and over in these places and this LOVE energy grows and grows. Each of these places, wherever this loving and worshiping is done, grows more and more in LOVE. The energy becomes so powerful and full of peace. Everyone that comes to these places feels it. That is why people go to these places so often. It is the only place they can go where they will feel at peace. They can feel safe in love.
What if we could LOVE all over the world, not just in places of worship but everywhere we go, stopping and loving this place? Honor the place you are at each moment by becoming aware of it. The place you are right now is allowing you to be there. Stop and look around at where you are. Take a moment to be still. Notice and love this place and space that you are in. Love all that is around you. Love this whole planet and the existence of this planet as soon as you become aware of it. The more this is done, taking notice of all around you including the planet we are all living on, the more this energy of Love grows. No matter what is going on around you, you can stop for just a moment Be Still and Love. Love knows what to do. It is very powerful. The more each place is loved, along with all that is in it, the more the love will grow in these places and all that is in these places.
Wherever you are, take a moment to Be Still and just Love. You are making a huge difference. You will begin to feel it, and you will feel it grow. I have realized that many of us are already doing this. This is what has moved us into the shift. We are already beginning to ascend into a higher consciousness because so many of us are taking the time to meditate and love this planet in groups and individually all over the world.
Think of how fast of an Ascension we could do with more and more of us awakening to our own individual power of prayer and love for this planet and All. It will be profound! And you will know a love that conquers all and be a part of that. I do not believe there could be a more powerful gift to this planet at this time than LOVE. The more we love, the more we all grow. All is touched by this love. More and more will begin to awaken. You just cannot deny the strength of Love!
The more you love, the more love will come back to you. You cannot help but grow into more and more Love. Everything you come into contact with will love you back. The giving and receiving of love will grow for all. Mother Earth will feel you tremendously. Love her and nurture her. She loves us and nurtures us. Stop for a moment and Be Still with her energy and feel and know you are one with Earth. Your energies are merged. Open up to her once again and let her feel your love. It helps us all to grow.
