Abundant Spirit Life in Thailand

This photo is just one of many that is full of orbs. Thailand is very tropical, and I believe you will see an abundance of nature spirits. The culture believes greatly in spirits and worships with respect. My friend and I believe that adds to the creation of spirit life. They do lots of ceremonies and offerings to them each day. The spirits love it!

Interesting Orbs in Thailand

This is one of our favorite photos in Thailand. This is taken right outside our townhouse over an empty plot of land. You see the full moon below a large blue orb, and something very bright is coming from the trees. It looks as though it is taking off, going up. What do you think this could be?? Maybe a huge bird spirit.

 Orbs over spirit house in Thailand

This is a pretty photo. It shows you a spirit house that many people have outside of homes and businesses. They will light incense each day and offer food and gifts such as flowers. Some will even have images of people or deities living in the spirit houses.  

The spirit houses are to be made attractive to entice spirits to live in the smaller houses outside and not in the main house or business. It supposedly keeps the main house or business clean of spirits. I will let you know that is not always true. My friend and I have found that spirits love to live in the shrines in the main house as well and even take over living in a deity statue. We have found that shrines and statues need to be cleaned and cleared often. Certain spirits like attention, and they will live and take over places that you live in, feeding on your energy. Temples are usually safe from the lower energy because of the many blessings offered by the monks and lay people, but unsuspecting people, failing to clean and clear their living and work spaces, may entice lower-energy spirits that feed on the energy in those places.
